Potensi Zakat Dalam Mengentaskan Kemiskinan Menurut Perspektif Hadis

Abstract

This research discusses the potential of zakat in alleviating poverty from a hadith perspective. Zakat is not only a religious obligation but also an effective socio-economic instrument for distributing wealth fairly. The research method used is secondary research, which includes a literature review from various sources as well as an analysis of secondary data from zakat amil institutions to evaluate the impact of zakat distribution on poverty alleviation. This study highlights the redistribution of wealth, economic empowerment, and social effects caused by zakat distribution. This research aims to analyze the potential of zakat in alleviating poverty as well as the view of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding this matter. The results of this research state that the utilization of zakat has a significant impact on alleviating poverty. This is in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as stated in the hadiths, which discuss zakat and poverty
