Analisis Pelecehan Seksual Pada Anak di Kota Bima (Study Kasus Di Lingkungan Nggarolo Kelurahan Penanae Kota Bima)

Abstract

Sexual abuse of children is an irresponsible act that intentionally damages a child mentally or physically, carried out by pers or adults. Cases of sexual violence againts children are prone to occur because children are considered weak, unabel to fight back, easily feel afraid and easily persuaded. For a long time, cases of sexual abuse against children or woman have always received a lot of attention from society. This research aims to analyze cases of sexual abuse of children in the Nggarolo environment, Penanae sub-district, Bima city. This research uses Qualitative research methods with a Descriptive approach. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and documentation. Types of qualitative data and data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The method for determining informants was carried out trough a purposive sampling technique. The results of research that has been found regarding cases of sexual abuse of children in the Nggarolo neighborhood, Penanae sub-district, Bima City, show that abuse of children consistenly occurs every year, with the dominant perpetrators being the victim’s closest family from adults to the elderly and the case is fully accompainied by the LPA in the process. Perpetrators of harassment received prison sentences, even after being released, some of the perpetrators were expelled from their homes.
