Pengaruh Ekspektasi Terhadap Regulasi Emosi Ketika Menghadapi Kegagalan Pada Dewasa Awal

This research aims to analyze the influence of expectations on emotion regulation in early adulthood individuals facing failure. Through a quantitative approach and survey method, data were collected from 96 respondents aged 18-40 years who experienced failure in various aspects of life. The analysis results show that expectations significantly influence emotion regulation, with an R square value of 0.338, indicating that 33.8% of the variance in emotion regulation is influenced by expectations. The Pearson correlation shows a moderate positive relationship between the two variables (r = 0.588). These findings highlight the importance of managing expectations to enhance individuals' ability to regulate emotions and provide insights for psychological interventions aimed at supporting mental health in early adulthood.
